Is the Silver cover the right choice?

Silver Cover is designed for homeowners who want more than just servicing — protection for the working heating system as well.

It’s ideal if your boiler is reliable or still under warranty, but you want the rest of the heating system covered too.

You mainly want to:

• Keep your manufacturer warranty valid
• Cover radiators, valves and pipework
• Avoid unexpected heating repair costs
• Have an engineer available when heating stops working
• Spread repair risk monthly instead of one-off bills

If you want full boiler internal repair protection, Gold may be more suitable.

What happens when you join

Your first visit

We carry out a system suitability check before cover begins.

This allows us to confirm the heating system is operating safely and prevents customers paying for pre-existing faults.

After acceptance:

• Your annual boiler service is scheduled
• Heating system protection becomes active
• You can call us if your heating system stops working

This keeps cover fair for everyone and avoids hidden exclusions later.

What Silver does NOT include

Silver includes heating system breakdown protection but does not cover internal boiler component failures once outside manufacturer warranty.

Examples of internal boiler parts:

• PCB
• Fan
• Gas valve
• Internal leaks inside the appliance

If your boiler is still under manufacturer warranty, those parts would normally be repaired under the manufacturer guarantee.

Silver is designed to protect the rest of the heating system around the boiler.

If you want full appliance repair protection regardless of warranty status, Gold cover is the better option.

When should you choose Silver?

Silver Cover is best suited if:

• Your boiler is fairly modern or under warranty
• You want protection for radiators and heating pipework

Yes — Silver Cover includes central heating breakdown cover. If pumps, valves, radiators, pipework or controls fail, we’ll attend and repair the fault subject to the plan terms.

Are boiler parts included?

Boiler parts are covered while your boiler remains under a Blue Flame or manufacturer warranty.
The Silver plan primarily protects the wider heating system, and we handle any valid warranty claims on your behalf.

Do I still get an annual service?

Yes — your plan includes a full Gas Safe annual boiler service to keep the boiler safe, efficient and warranty compliant.

What parts of the heating system are covered?

The plan covers radiators, valves, heating pipework, circulating pump and heating controls such as thermostats and programmers.

Is there a call-out charge?

No — there is no call-out fee for covered breakdowns. You simply contact us and we arrange a visit.

Do you need to inspect the system before cover starts?

Yes — we first confirm the system is suitable for cover. This protects both you and us and avoids unexpected exclusions later.

What happens if my boiler breaks down?

If the issue is within the heating system — pumps, valves, radiators, pipework or controls — it’s covered and we repair it under your plan.

If the fault is inside the boiler, we handle the warranty process for you where the boiler is still under a Blue Flame or manufacturer warranty, keeping everything simple and stress-free.
