We confirm this during the first visit so you know your cover is valid from the start — not months later when you need it.

Our Boiler Cover plans include everything required to keep your boiler running safely and reliably all year round — with added home protection on Silver, Gold, and Gold Plus, & Blue Home Cover.

No initial visit is required.

If anything needs attention, we explain it clearly before cover begins — no pressure and no surprise exclusions later.

Are there any hidden fees or call-out charges?

No — our plans are completely transparent.

There are:

If your plan includes repair cover, all parts and labour are included with no limit on engineer attendance.

Do you try to avoid paying for repairs?

The only things excluded are problems that existed before joining, upgrades, or damage outside the heating system itself.

Does boiler cover include emergency breakdowns?

Yes — if your plan includes breakdown cover, we’ll attend emergency callouts and get your heating or hot water running again as quickly as possible. Silver, Gold and Gold Plus include full breakdown support. Depending on cover – boiler or system related.

How fast can an engineer attend?

Because we’re local, our response times are fast:

  • Same-day / Next-day for no-heat or urgent breakdowns

  • Within 48 hours for non-urgent issues

  • Emergency calls prioritised

No call centres — you speak directly to our Blue Flame engineers.

Can I cancel my cover at any time?

Yes — you can cancel at any time.

Because we check eligibility first, cancellations and disputes are rare — customers usually stay because the cover works as expected.

What if my boiler is old?

Older boilers may still be eligible depending on:

  • Overall condition

  • Safety

  • Parts availability

If your boiler fails the First Visit Inspection, we’ll explain why and advise honestly.
You can still join the Bronze Service Plan, which guarantees your annual service.

What happens if my boiler breaks down?

If your plan includes repair cover:

  1. Contact us (phone, WhatsApp, online)

  2. We attend quickly

  3. We diagnose and repair using genuine parts

  4. You pay nothing extra — parts, labour and attendance included.

If you’re on Bronze (service-only), repairs are still available at standard rates.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?

Yes — you can change your plan whenever you like. If you want more cover, you can upgrade instantly. If you want to reduce your monthly cost, you can downgrade your plan at the next billing cycle. Just contact the Blue Flame office and we’ll handle everything for you, with no hassle.

What happens if I move home — can I transfer my boiler cover?

Yes — your cover can be transferred to your new property as long as the new boiler meets the eligibility criteria. Just notify us when you move, and we’ll update your details instantly.

Does Bronze include breakdown cover?

No — Bronze is Service Only. It includes your annual boiler service and safety checks, but it does not include breakdown repairs or replacement parts.

What’s the main difference between Bronze and Silver?

Silver includes boiler service like  Bronze plus full system breakdown cover, including radiators, valves, pumps, pipework, and common faults.

Most customers choose Gold or Blue Home because they want predictable costs rather than repair bills.

What extra protection does Gold give me over Silver?

Gold includes boiler parts & labour and annual boiler service. Priority callouts, and enhanced repairs. Silver does not cover boiler parts & labour

Gold Plus Cover

Gold+ is our highest boiler-only protection tier, offering everything in Gold plus system cover, thermostats, radiators, pipework, valves and priority response. The most comprehensive boiler breakdown cover available.

What is included in Blue Home Cover?

Blue Home Cover combines boiler, heating, plumbing, and electrical cover into one plan — giving full home emergency protection, priority callouts, and complete peace of mind.

What plumbing issues do you cover?

Plumbing Cover includes leaks, burst pipes, internal blockages, faulty valves, waste pipes, and household plumbing faults. External pipework and large-scale upgrades are not included.

What electrical problems are covered?

Electrical Cover includes faulty circuits, fuse board trips, wiring faults, sockets, switches, and common household electrical failures. Full rewires and major upgrades are not included.
