What Gold Plus does NOT include

Gold Plus covers your boiler and the wider heating system for unexpected breakdowns.
However, like any protection plan, it can’t cover faults that already existed before joining.

Typical exclusions:

• Problems found during the initial inspection
• Damage caused by severe sludge, corrosion or neglected systems
• Issues resulting from previous incorrect installation or third-party alterations
• Misuse or non-domestic use of the system

If anything needs attention before cover can begin, we’ll explain it clearly first — no surprises, no pressure.

Yes — Gold Plus covers both the boiler and the central heating system, including pumps, valves, radiators, pipework and controls.

Are boiler parts included?

Yes — both parts and labour are included for covered repairs, giving predictable monthly costs and no unexpected bills

Do I still get an annual service?

Yes — your plan includes a full Gas Safe annual boiler service to keep the boiler safe, efficient and warranty compliant.

Does it cover thermostats and controls?

Standard heating controls are covered, but advanced smart thermostats (such as internet-connected or app-controlled devices) are not included as they are considered specialist electronics.

Is there a call-out charge?

No — there is no call-out fee for covered breakdowns. You simply contact us and we arrange a visit.

Do you need to inspect the boiler and system before cover starts?

Yes — we first confirm the boiler is safe and system are suitable for cover.
This prevents future exclusions and keeps the cover fair for everyone.

What if the boiler cannot be repaired?

If your boiler is beyond economical repair, we’ll advise you honestly and discuss replacement options.
