Why should I get my boiler serviced annually?

An annual service keeps your boiler safe, efficient and under warranty. Our Gas Safe engineers carry out a full inspection, performance test and clean. Every Bronze / Silver / Gold / Gold+ plan includes one annual boiler service as standard.

Do I need boiler cover if I already have a new boiler?

Cover is optional, but it adds peace of mind by protecting against unexpected faults not covered by manufacturer warranty. Blue Flame cover plans start from just £6.99 per month.

What’s included in each Blue Flame cover plan?
  • Bronze — Annual boiler service + safety check.
  • Silver — Boiler & controls breakdown cover.
  • Gold — Full heating system cover.
  • Gold+ — Heating + plumbing + electrical cover.

All plans include 24/7 emergency support with no hidden call-out fees.

Can I join if Blue Flame didn’t install my boiler?

Yes. You can join any plan after a quick initial boiler check. Once approved, you’ll receive the same level of protection and aftercare as our installation customers.

Will I pay a call-out charge or excess?

No — there are no call-out fees or excess charges on Blue Flame plans. Unlimited call-outs are included for complete peace of mind.

How do I book my annual service?

We’ll contact you automatically when your service is due. Choose a convenient date online or call our friendly local team — our engineer will complete the service quickly and efficiently.

Are your engineers qualified?

Every Blue Flame engineer is Gas Safe Registered, fully insured and trained to the highest standards. We’ve proudly served homes across South Wales for over 10 years.

Can I upgrade or change plan later?

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at renewal or sooner if needed — our team will help you choose the right level of cover for your home and budget.
