Blue Home Cover protects against unexpected breakdowns, but like all protection plans it cannot cover problems that existed before joining.

Typical exclusions:

• Issues caused by incorrect installation or third-party alterations
• Misuse or non-domestic use of systems

Does Blue Home Cover include boiler and heating breakdowns?

Yes. Blue Home Cover protects your boiler and full central heating system, including breakdown repairs, parts and labour.

Are plumbing and electrical faults covered?

Yes. The plan includes internal plumbing (pipes, leaks and blockages) and home electrics (wiring faults and tripping circuits).

Do I still get an annual service?

Yes — your plan includes a full Gas Safe annual boiler service to keep the boiler safe, efficient and warranty compliant.

Does it cover thermostats and controls?

Standard heating controls are covered, but advanced smart thermostats (such as internet-connected or app-controlled devices) are not included as they are considered specialist electronics.

Is there a call-out charge?

No — there is no call-out fee for covered breakdowns. You simply contact us and we arrange a visit.

Do you need to inspect the home before cover starts?

Yes. We carry out a suitability inspection to ensure the systems are safe and protect against pre-existing faults.

What if something cannot be repaired?

If a component cannot be repaired, we’ll explain the options clearly and may offer a discounted replacement depending on age and condition.
